A mother left her baby on the bed after breastfeeding him, and went to the nearest market to buy foodstuffs.
When she returned minutes later, she found a live snake on the bed. In fear, she hit the snake with a wood and killed it.
Fortunately, her baby had not been bitten by the black snake!
